Copper prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange extended their weekly losses during Asian morning trading on Friday December 1, with disappointing Chinese macroeconomic data fueling concerns about slowing growth in the world’s second-largest economy.

Base metal prices on Shanghai Futures Exchange diverged during Asian morning trading on Monday November 13, with nickel and copper under pressure while aluminium rebounded.

Base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange are up across the board by an average of 0.8% this morning, Monday September 18. Zinc prices lead the way with a 1.2% rise, followed by lead prices, up by 1.1%, and three-month copper prices that are up by 1% at $6,553 per tonne.
