Lithium Ionic Corp. (TSXV: LTH; OTCQX: LTHCF) is on track to become a significant near-term lithium producer in Brazil’s “Lithium Valley”, a world-class hard-rock lithium-producing district. The Company is quickly advancing its 100%-owned Bandeira Project in Minas Gerais state; a long-life, low-cost project with near-term production of high-quality lithium concentrate to support the global EV and battery supply chains. A PEA from Oct. 2023, demonstrated robust economics with a post-tax NPV of US$1.6B, establishing a strong foundation for future growth and scalability, as Bandeira represents only about 1% of the Company’s large 14,182-hectare land package in this rich pegmatite district.
South32’s Hermosa project in Southern Arizona is currently the only advanced mine development project in the United States that could produce two federally designated critical minerals – manganese and zinc – both of which are essential minerals for powering the nation’s clean energy future. It is the first mining project to be covered by the federal FAST-41 process and recently received a commitment of $2.16 billion for the development of its zinc deposit. Hermosa has become a key example of what is possible with a focus on the domestic production of critical minerals.
