The October 13 panel report included an incorrect price for Western plywood sheathing CD struc 1 3/4. A typo was made resulting in the incorrect report. The incorrect price of $920 (a $15 decrease) has been corrected to $935 (no change).
A number of structural panel prices in today’s Midweek publication had errors on the ups/downs page due to technical errors.
Publication of Nonwovens Markets Issue 17 was delayed Wednesday Oct. 11 due to technical difficulties. NWM Issue 17 will be published on Thursday Oct. 12.
Fastmarkets RISI invited feedback from the industry for the pricing of a new 50- to 70-lb unbleached grocery bag paper grade and for a name change for 30-lb unbleached kraft paper to unbleached converting kraft paper in North America. The open consultation process was between Sept. 8 and Oct. 6, 2023. No feedback was received during the consultation period, and the addition of the new price line and change in name of another will be incorporated in the Price Watch starting with the Nov. 17 issue of Fastmarkets’ PPI Pulp & Paper Week and in Fastmarkets’ online price platform.
Fastmarkets has corrected its Nonwovens Markets PriceWatch which were published incorrectly on Sept. 4, 2023 as September instead of August, and on Oct. 4 were incorrectly reported as October instead of September.
Fastmarkets RISI invited feedback from the industry on the pricing methodology for North American recovered paper, via an open consultation process between Aug. 8 and Sept. 1, 2023. This consultation was done as part of our published annual methodology review process. No feedback was received during the consultation period and therefore no changes will be made to the methodologies at this stage.
Fastmarkets Benchmark Administration Oy (FBA) was incorporated in December 2020 to operate as the independent administrator of benchmarks published by price reporting agency (PRA) Fastmarkets and subject to the European Benchmarks Regulation (BMR).
